UAV Multisensor system

Sep 2009 - May 2010
We are currently working on a helicopter based UAV that will be controlled by an autopilot. It will carry several sensors to observe and map the environment: laser scanner (LiDAR) for topographic mapping, high-resolution camera, hyperspectral camera, thermal camera. Building the UAV, integrating the sensors, and processing the data are key challenges in this novel research project.
